A very fine condition, vintage stainless steel Swiss mens Calendar wrist watch in full working order, retailed by Eloga. The watch ticking away strongly and keeping very good time indeed, and just cleaned and overhauled by my watch-maker. This is guaranteed to be a genuine vintage Swiss full calendar wrist watch, signed to the case, dial and also movement, and comes with a new presentation box as shown. This is a beautifully made Swiss men's watch, dating from ca. 1950.
THE DIAL: 100% mint,the original satin silver dial with gold Arabic numerals and signed "Eloga". Dial with gold dauphine hands and centre seconds hand. Diameter is 30 mm. The new crystal is also in excellent condition. All of the calendar functions are in full working order.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with satin steel plates and finely engraved balance cock. A shiny blued steel Bosely regulator, and ruby endstone setting, blue steel screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement working very well indeed and fully signed ETA, with 17 jewels. The watch with a stainless steel winding crown.
THE CALENDAR: 100% mint, the central gold calendar hand with red arc to end, moves when the lower pusher button inset into the case at 4.00 is depressed. The two boxes to dial, showing day of week, are adjusted by turning the winding crown for 24 hours and is in full working order. The second box showing month of the year is chnaged via the upper pusher button inset into the case at 2.00. The original pushers in full working order and very clean.
THE CASE: 95% mint, the stainless steel case measures 33 x 41 mm outside diameter. The front cover is excellent and the snap on rear cover closing very tightly, with the odd fine scratch. The watch marked with Eloga company stamp. The case in very fine condition for its age, with some wear to top section of case and also to rear of top cover. However, when in use really not noticeable. The watch comes with a new leather watch band and a blue leatherette presentation box as shown.
