A mint and rare condition solid 14k gold ladies Tiffany & Co. 15 jewelled dress wrist watch, with a gold plated bracelet. The watch ticking away strongly and keeping very good time indeed, and just cleaned and overhauled by my watch-maker. This is guaranteed to be a genuine and authentic Tiffany & Co. ladies wrist watch from the Deco period, the 1940's, and comes with a presentation box as shown.
THE DIAL: 100% mint, the restored satin silver dial with gold baton markers and signed "Tiffany & Co.", and in bright condition. Dial with fancy gold dauphine hands. Diameter is 17 x 13 mm. The original crystal is also in excellent condition.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with silver colored plates. The watch with a fully compensated regulator and two-arm bimetallic balance with overcoiled hairspring. Do note the unusual 3 letter code to the base of the balance cock, this appears to read "OXG" (an early Omega trade abbrevation). The movement fully signed "Omega" and with 17 jewels and adjusted to two postions. The movement with its original gilt winding button. The movement is a rare R13.5 (calibre 240 is later equivalent) calibre and the number is 10,395,xxx dating this to 1945. The watch is a classic example of high grade Swiss Engineering. The watch is much brighter and crisp than in these dark photos, which are limited by my camera and lighting equiment. The watch is in very good working order for its age.
THE CASE: 100%, solid 14k gold case measures 15mm outside diameter and 18 mm to top and base of case. The two piece piece case is in excellent condition, with a snap on solid 14k gold back. The watch case with 14k and 0.585 marks, Swiss import hall-marks, "Omega Watch Co", and case number of 107,xxxx. The watch comes with its original gold plated on steel sprung bracelet with some wear as shown. We are happy to supply a new leather watch band if required, and the watch is supplied with a leatherette presentation box.
