A mint condition 14k gold Swiss Doxa mens 1950's classic wrist watch with an automatic "bumper" movement and a rare two-tone dial. The watch has just been fully serviced and overhauled by my watch-maker, and is keeping excellent time. This is guaranteed to be a genuine Swiss solid gold Doxa men's wrist watch, in excellent condition and comes with a new presentation box as shown. The watch being automatic winds automatically whilst on the wrist and the bumper rotor moves back and forth inside the case . The watch is clearly marked Doxa and is in its original case.
THE DIAL: 100% mint,the brushed satin silver dial with dot and arrow head hour markers and signed "Doxa Automatic, Swiss Made". Dial with gold dauphine hands and gold centre seconds hand. Diameter is 30 mm. The new crystal is also in excellent condition.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with typical Doxa plates. The watch with a compensate regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement fully signed "Doxa S.A.", and with 17 jewels and a bumper- rotor to centre. The movement with a gilt winding button. The movement is based on an AS calibre 1173 automatic.
THE CASE: 100% mint, the the solid 14k gold case measures 35 mm outside diameter and 42 mm to ends of lugs. The case is in excellent condition, with a snap on rear cover. The watch case with 14k and 0.585 gold marks as shown. The case with Doxa stamp and the case number of 845, xxx and style number of 129. The watch comes with a new leather watch band and a new presentation box.
