A mint condition solid 9k gold Swiss mens Zenith wrist watch in very good original condition dating to 1966. This is guaranteed to be a genuine Swiss Zenith men's wrist watch, and the watch is fully marked on the case as such and in excellent condition.

 

THE DIAL: 100% mint,  the satin silver dial with arrow-head gold Arabic numerals, signed Zenith to centre. Dial with gold hands. Diameter is 30 mm. The new crystal is also in excellent condition.

 

 

 

 

 

THE MOVEMENT:  100% mint, with polished nickel steelplates and finely engraved balance cock. A shiny blued steel Bosely regulator, and ruby endstone setting, blue steel screws. This has a Glucydur screw balance, Nivarox hairspring and is incabloc shock protected. The movement works at 21,600 BPH or beats per hour. It came out in 1960 and has 19 jewels. With an uncut two arm gold and steel balance, with overcoiled hairspring.  The movement fully signed Zenith on the plate and with 19 jewels and two adjustments and is an Zenith 2531 calibre. The gold winding crown in fine condition.

 

THE CASE: 100%, the solid 9k gold three piece case measures an impressive 35  mm  x 42 mm. The front cover is excellent and snaps on very tightly and the screw in rear cover also closing snugly. The case with Zenith Watch Company (Z.W.Co.) marks and full details. The case stamped with 9k gold, 0.375 and London hall marks. The watch weighs complete a massive ca. 31 grams, with a very substantial solid 9k gold fully marked case. The case with dedication to rear cover dated 1966.  The watch comes with a new brown leather watch band and a leatherette presentation box to store the watch when not in use.
