The CHAIN: 100% mint, the substantial full English double Albert pocket watch chain in excellent condition. Every link is fully hallmarked and with silver stamps. The chain with London hall-marks and all links are in good order showing little wear, no doubt due to the substanial nature of the chain. The Albert with swivel T-bar and fully working clasp also fully hall-marked and stamped.
The chains measure 18 and 18.5 cm with a nice solid silver t-bar to top and fully functioning clasps at the ends. The chain comes with two fobs, one of which is swivel fob inset with two semi-precious stones, of which one is a colored agate and the other a malchite, which is cracked. The second fob has a small 9k gold shield to the front and is dated 1937-38. This is a high quality item, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality. This watch chain has clearly had a sheltered life and was most likely kept just for "Sunday Best", hence its near mint and immaculate condition.
