A mint condition solid 9k gold Swiss mens 1940's vintage Omega hi-grade 17 jewelled wrist watch, with a classic 30T2 movement. The watch has been fully serviced and overhauled by my watch-maker and is keeping excellent time. This is guaranteed to be a genuine solid 14k gold, WW2 period Swiss Omega men's wrist watch, in excellent condition and comes with a new presentation box with a rare black and gold dial and solid 9k gold bracelet.
100% mint,the gloss black dial with gold baton markers, signed, "Omega, Swiss Made". Dial with gold dauphine hands and gold centre seconds. Diameter is 28 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition. Please note that there are multiple reflections from this glass, the black dial is perfect.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with polished red gold plates and finely engraved balance cock. A shiny blued steel Bosely regulator, and ruby endstone setting, blue steel screws. With an uncut two arm gold and steel balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement fully signed "Omega", with 17 jewels and two adjustments and is a 30T2 calibre. The plates in very fine condition, and the gilt winding crown in fine order, lightly rubbed to end. The movement number of 10,440,xxx dates this watch to 1944. The watch is a classic example of high grade Omega engineering.
100% mint, the solid 14k gold three piece case measures an impressive 32 mm x 40 mm. The front cover is excellent and snaps on tightly. The case with "Omega" and Dennison marks, triangular stamp, OWC, and full details and case number 106,xxx. The case stamped with 14k gold, 0.585 karat, and Swiss hall marks.
100% mint, the solid 9k gold gate-link bracelet measures an impressive 19.5 cm fully extended. There is a long central clasp which measures a tad under 3 cm, and can easily be shortened if required or a link removed. The watch band with a few discrete repairs, but in very good order and not twisted or stretched. The band stamped with 9k gold, 0.375 karat, and Birmingham hall marks. The watch comes with a new presentation box.
