A mint condition stainless steel mens vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer watch. The watch with a high grade auto wind chronometer movement, dating from 1960. The watch with a fine satin silver and gold dial and a stainless steel case with a yellow gold Constellation logo to the reverse. The watch comes with a new leather watch band and presentation box.
THE DIAL: 100% mint, the satin silver dial with gold/black hour markers and signed "Omega Automatic Chronometer, Officially Certified, Constellation" and cross-hairs. Dial with gold dauphine hands and centre seconds hand. Diameter is 30 mm. The new crystal is also in excellent condition.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with typical Omega red gold colored plates. The watch with a compensate regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement fully signed "Omega", and with 24 jewels. The watch with auto-rotor to centre and the movement adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. The watch with a plain shiny steel button. The movement is an Omega 551 calibre and the number is 17,xxx,xxx (dates the watch to 1960). The watch is a stunning example of high grade Omega engineering.
THE CASE: 98% mint, the stainless steel case measures 34 mm outside diameter, and 43mm to ends of lugs. The front cover is excellent and the screw on stainless steel rear cover closing tightly. The watch case with the classic Constellation Obervatory and eight stars to centre of reverse and a few fine scratches to rear cover. The inside of case with the "Omega Watch Co" triangular mark and the case number of 143.xxx.
THE BRACELET: 100% mint, the watch comes with a new high quality black leather watch band and also a new high quality leatherette presentation box, to store the watch when not in use.
