A mint condition 14k gold gold topped and stainless steel mens vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer watch. The watch with a high grade auto wind chronometer movement, dating from 1961. The watch with a stunning 14k gold top and a stainless steel case with a yellow gold Constellation logo to the reverse. The watch comes with its original gold and stainless steel Omega link bracelet and clasp in excellent condition.
The DIAL: 100% mint, the original textured gold domed dial with gold/luminous hour markers and signed "Omega Automatic Chronometer, Officially Certified, Constellation". Dial with gold dauphine hands and centre seconds hand. Diameter is 30 mm.
The MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with typical Omega red gold colored plates. The watch with a compensate regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement fully signed "Omega", and with 24 jewels, auto-rotor to centre and movement adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. The watch with its original yellow gold Omega stamped button. The movement is an Omega 551 calibre and the number is 18,264,xxx (dating the watch to 1961).
The CASE: 100% mint, the solid 14k gold topped case measures 34 mm outside diameter, and 43 mm to ends of lugs. The front cover is excellent and the screw on stainless steel rear cover closing tightly. The top cover with a fewe very tiny marks as shown. The watch case with the classic Constellation Obervatory and eight stars to the gold centre of reverse and a few fine scratches to rear cover. The inside of case with the "Omega Watch Co" triangular mark and the case number of 143.xx and 11SC.
100% mint, the watch comes with its original solid gold and stainless steel, bi-metal Omega watch band which will fit most mens wrists, with very minor some wear as expected, but still very nice. The sliding claps adjustment works fine and locks in place securely. The watch also comes with a new high quality leatherette presentation box, to store the watch when not in use.
