A mint condition stainless steel mens vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer watch. The watch with a high grade auto wind chronometer movement and with day and date, dating from 1961. The watch with a rare black pie-pan dial and a stainless steel case with a yellow gold Constellation logo to the reverse. The watch comes with a new leather watch band and presentation box.
100% mint, the original matt black pan dial with gold/black hour markers and signed "Omega Automatic Chronometer, Officially Certified, Constellation" and date box. Dial with gold hands and centre seconds hand. Diameter is 29 mm. The new crystal is also in excellent condition.
The MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with typical Omega red gold colored plates. The watch with a compensate regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement fully signed "Omega", and with 24 jewels. The watch with auto-rotor to centre and the movement adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. The watch with its original yellow gold Omega stamped button. The movement is an Omega 551 calibre and the number is 17,014,xxx (dates the watch to 1960). The watch is a stunning example of high grade Omega engineering.
98% mint, the stainless steel case measures 34 mm outside diameter, and 43 mm to ends of lugs. The front cover is excellent and the screw on stainless steel rear cover closing tightly. The watch case with the classic Constellation Obervatory (lightly worn as shown) and eight stars gold to centre of reverse and a few light scratches to rear cover. The inside of case with the "Omega Watch Co" triangular mark and the case number of 14381.xxx.
100% mint, the watch comes with a new high quality black leather watch band and also a new high quality leatherette presentation box, to store the watch when not in use.
