1951 18k Gold Auto Omega SeaMaster

A mint condition solid 18k gold Swiss mens early 1950's vintage Omega SeaMaster hi-grade 17 jewelled wrist watch with a rare and early automatic bumper movement. The watch has just been fully serviced and overhauled by my watch-maker, and is keeping excellent time. The watch is a very elegant slim-line Omega dress watch in stunning condition This is guaranteed to be a genuine solid 18k gold Swiss Omega SeaMaster men's wrist watch, in excellent condition and comes with a new presentation box as shown and a rare black and gold dial. This is a beautifully made mans solid 18k gold Omega SeaMaster dress wrist watch, dating from 1951. The watch is clearly marked Omega and in its original solid 18k gold case.



100% mint, , the champagne dial with gold baton markers, signed, "Omega, Automatic, SeaMaster, Swiss Made". Dial with gold dauphine hands and gold centre seconds. Diameter is 29 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition.





THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with polished red gold plates and finely engraved balance cock. A shiny blued steel Bosely regulator, and ruby endstone setting, blue steel screws. With an uncut two arm gold and steel balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement fully signed "Omega", with 17 jewels and two adjustments and it is a bumper calibre. The plates in very fine condition, and a plain gilt winding crown in fine order, with Omega stamp to end. The movement number of 12,632,xxx dates this watch to 1951. The watch is a classic example of high grade Omega engineering.


THE CASE: 100% mint, , the solid 18k gold three piece case measures an impressive 32 mm x 41 mm and 7.5 mm thick, a slim-line model. The front cover is excellent and snaps on tightly, amost unusual case design, not one I have seen before in 18k gold. The case with Dennison and ALD marks, the early solid gold case makers for Omega in the English market. The case with full details and case number of486,xxx. The case stamped with 18k gold, 0.750 karat, and Birmingham hall marks. The watch comes with a new leather watch band and a new blue leatherette presentation box.
