A near mint condition solid 10k gold filled Swiss Gent's Omega wrist watch, and a new leather watch bracelet. The watch has just been fully serviced and overhauled by my watch-maker, and is keeping excellent time. This watch is guaranteed to be a genuine 10k gold filled Omega wrist watch, fully signed to dial, movement and case, The watch is in full working order and comes complete with a presentation box.


 

 

THE DIAL: 95% mint, the two-tone gold dial with gold Arabic numerals and signed "Omega, Swiss Made". The original dial with some fine spotting, as one normally finds on a close to 60 year old watch dial. Dial with gold dauphine hands and centre seconds hand. Diameter is 29 mm. The new crystal is also in excellent condition.

 

 


 


THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with typical Omega plates. The watch with a compensated regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement fully signed "Omega", and with 15 jewels. The movement with a gilt winding button and worn Omega symbol. The movement is an Omega calibre 263 and the number is 12,4xx,xxx dating the watch to 1950. The watch is a fabulous example of high grade Omega engineering.


 

 

THE CASE: 100% mint, the 10k gold filled case measures 32mm outside diameter and 41 mm to ends of lugs. The case is in excellent condition, with a snap on rear cover. The watch case with number of 2496-3. The case with Omega Watch Co. stamp and the early patent and dust proof seal arrangement which works very well indeed and the rear cover closes very tightly indeed. The watch comes with a new high quality leather watch band and a new red leatherette presentation box as shown.
